Shahenshah is a 1953 Hindi movie directed by Amiya Chakrabarty and produced by G. P. Sippy. The movie stars Kamini Kaushal, Ranjan and Shakila in lead roles. Shahenshah (1953) Movie Plot, Storyline
Shahenshah is a fascinating story of Prince Rashid (played by Ranjan) whose fate changed due to some avoidable circumstances. He faces lots of tribulations in his life despite being a Prince as his kingdom was attacked and captured by enemies. Prince Rashid’s father loses his kingdom and the Prince and his mother become helpless. The loyal wazir (played by K. N Singh) comes to the rescue of the Prince and his mother Queen and helps them to escape to neighboring Bahgdad with a well-thought plan.
A magician who was a well-wisher of the Queen and her family advises her to live secretly in Baghdad without revealing their identity. Baghdad itself is under the control of a shrewd and evil Vazir. The vazir was also the incharge of Baby Princess Noor. In a span of twelve long years, the Prince grows up into a charming and good-looking man. His courage and magnetic personality make him a hero of the masses. He helps and fights for the poor and needy. Princess Noor too blossoms into a beautiful sixteen-year-old woman. Tehran is ruled by the invader’s son. Prince Rashid with his courage and determination wins back Tehran and frees Baghdad from the clutches of evil invaders.
