Raveena Tandon is a popular bollywood actress of 90’s. She has worked in number of bollywood blockbuster movies.  Raveena Tondon is daughter of film director Ravi Tandon. She is married to film distributor Anil Thandani. She adapted two girls when she was still very youn and single.

Raveena made her debut in bollywood with the movie Patthar Ke Phool opposite Salman Khan. This movie became a hit.  She recieved the Filmfare New Face of the Year Award for this movie. She worked in the movie Dilwale opposite Ajay Devgan and Sunil Shetty. This movie became very successful at box office. The melodious songs of this movie are still very popular. Mohra is one of the most well known movie of her career. In this movie she was cast against Akshay Kumar. The song “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast” became a national rage. The highlight of this song was Raveena Tandon’s glamour and Akshay Kumar’s entertaining dance. Another song ” Tip Tip Barsa Pani” too became very popular.

Andaz Apna Apna is another highly important movie of Raveena Tandon’s illustrious career. In this movie she shared the screen with Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. This movie directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi is probably one of the best comedy movie of Bollywood.  Ironically this movie didn’t do well at the box office but the characters and dialogues of this movie are still very popular. This hilarious movie is a must watch for any movie buff.

Raveena  Tandon worked in the movie Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi with Akshay Kumar.  This movie did well at the box office.  In the movie Ziddi she played Sunny Deol’s love interest. This movie too became a hit. Raveena Tondon worked with Govinda in several successful movies like Bade Miyan Chote Miyaa, Anari No 1 and Dulhe Raja.  She worked in the movie Shool with Manoj Bajpayee for which she received appreciation.

Raveena Tondon started doing more meaningful roles later in her career. In the movie Daman directed by highly acclaimed director Kalpana Lajmi she potrayed the role of a battered wife. Her work was greatly applauded and she won the National Film Award For Best Actress.  Aks is another memorable movie for Raveena Tandon, she received the Filmfare Special Performance Award for her role in the movie. Satta is another movie for which she recieved critical acclaim for her wonderful acting.

Raveena Tandon has also spent some time with the small screen. She started her own talk show Isi Ka Naam Zindagi and acted in the serial Sahib Biwi aur Gulam. She has been celebrity judge in TV reality shows like Sabse Bada Kalakar, Super Dancer 4 and Nach Baliye.
