She potrayed both the roles with such poise that she overpowered the performances of her co star Sunny Deol and Rajnikanth. Sridevi paired with Anil Kapoor in the movie Mr. India, this movie became a blockbuster. The song Kaante Nahi Katte became a huge hit. In the movie Laadla she was again paired with Anil Kapoor and this movie too became a huge hit.
Sridevi was married to producer Boney Kapoor and has two daugheters Janvi and Khushi.
Sridevi had several prestigious awards to her credit. She recieved Flimfare award for best actress for Lamhe, Chaalbaaz and many more prestigious awards. She was also honoured with Padamshree Award by the Government of India. Posthumously she was honoured with Filmfare Liftime Achievement Award.
