Jungle Ka Jawahar (1953) Storyline, Cast
The Hindi action-adventure film “Jungle Ka Jawahar,” was released in 1953. The film is well directed by Homi Wadia and produced under the label of Basant Pictures. For this cinematic undertaking, the plot was written by Boman Shroff and Babubhai Mistry provided dazzling special effects.

One day, a plane lands in the jungle carrying three men: Kiran Dalpat, Deepak Shyam Sunder and the pilot Vijay John Cawas. Vijay, and his associates are then captured by the tribals including Mala who helped save Vijay’s life. They are tied to totem poles, facing the immediate danger of being roasted in boiling pots. Timely action from the doctor saves them this ordeal.
The story changes its direction when both Kiran and Sheena state their wish for the Rajnishan, an artifact that seems to hypnotize tribals; it enables access to hidden treasure. Kiran convinces the doctor to accompany him back to town because of Ramesh’s illness. Kiran once in the city kills the doctor and convinces Ramesh double of that to replace his brother’s identity. Kiran and the fake Ramesh go back to the jungle.
The narrative evolves into quick-action sequences where Mala is shown swinging through the jungle and it shows her overcoming opponents with ease. Eventually, good wins over evil, and Mala leaves the jungle with Vijay in his plane to mark a happy ending of the story.
