This solo track is sung by Kishore Kumar. This remixed version of this song sung by Shaan in 90’s also became very popular. “Chanda Hai Tu Mera Suraj Hai Tu” song is a melodious solo song sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Music composer S D Burman too sang a song “Safal Hogi Teri Aradhana” for the movie. Lyrics of these evergreen songs are penned by Anand Bakshi.
Aradhana has several awards to its credit. The movie won the Filmfare Best Film Award. Sharmila Tagore received the Filmfare Best Actress trophy for this movie. Kishore Kumar won the Filmfare Best Playback Singer award for this movie.
