Chhalang Storyline
Chhalang is a hindi movie starring Rajkumar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles. This sports comedy movie also stars Saurabh Shukla, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub, Satish Kaushik and Ila Arun. This movie is directed by Hansal Mehta. Musical contributions by Hitesh Sonik, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Vishal Shekhar and Guru Randhawa. This movie is produced by Ajay Devgan, Luv Ranjan, Bhushan Kumar, Kishan Kumar and Ankur Garg.
Chhalang is story of Mahendra Singh Hooda ( Rajkuamar Rao) with nickname Montu who plays role of physical training teacher in a school. Montu has a laidback attitude towards life and got the job due to his lawyer father, Kamelesh Singh Hooda’s ( Satish Kaushik ) recommendation. Montu falls in love with Neelima Mehra who is a new computer teacher in school. Twist in the story comes when a new physical training teacher Inder Mohan Singh ( Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub ) is hired by school in place of Montu, since Montu does not holds a valid degree. He has to play second fiddle to Inder Mohan because he is qualified and more competent. Montu feels disheartened as his love interest Neelima too spends more time with Inder Mohan.
A fight takes place between Montu and Inder Mohan when the latter punishes Montu’s younger brother physically. Montu quits the job but later he comes back to school and challenges Inder Mohan to take up a three sport competittion in which both the Inder Mohan and Montu will coach their respective teams, whoever wins the competition will stay as physical training teacher in the school. Inder Mohan accepts the challenge. Neelima who already had a soft corner for Montu helps him in training his students. Montu’s team defeats Inder Mohan’s team by winning two competitions out of three. Inder Mohan accepts his defeat. Montu too realizes that the school needs a competent physical training teacher so he urges Inder Mohan to stay back and work together for the school. Montu and Neelima’s love story too had a happy ending as Neelima accepts Montu’s love proposal.
