99 Songs Storyline

99 Songs is bollywood movie directed by Vishwesh Krishnamurthy. This movie is dream project of ace music composer A R Rahman. The movie is produced by A R Rahman himself under the banner YM Movies. The movie stars debutant actor Ehan Bhatt, Edilsy Vargas, Manisha Koirala, Lisa Ray, Ranjit Barot, Tenzin Dalha, Rahul Ram, Diwakar Pundir and others. Music of the movie is composed by A R Rahman.

99 Songs is a tale of struggling singer and composer Jay ( Ehan Bhatt ) who needs to prove himself to win his lady love. Jai loves Sophie (Edilsy Vargas) who is speech impaired girl. Sophie’s father Sanjay Singhania ( Ranjeet Barot ) does not approves of the relationship as he thinks there is no career and money in music. He challanges Jai to compose a winning tune that will change the world. Jai accepts the challange and visits Shillong where he meets his college friend and drummer Polo (Tenzin Dalha). In his quest for the winning tune Jai meets Sheela ( Manisha Koirala ) who is famous jazz musician. She hones Jai’s music skills and towards the end Jai is able to compose that winning tune after lot of hardwork and struggle.
