Padman-New Akshay Kumar Movie(2018)

Padman is a new movie upcoming movie inspired from the story of revolutionary Arunachalam Muruganantham with the mission of making low cost sanitary pads for women. He is the inventor of low cost sanitary pad making machines. The movie Padman is being directed by R Balki who has given several memorable movies like cheeni kum and paa with Amitabh Bachchan.

Akshay Kumar plays the lead role in Padman. This movie is adaption of the book written by actor Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna on Arunachalam Muruganantham. Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte are the female cast of the movie. This is a very challenging role for Akshay Kumar as the movie is made on a issue which is still a taboo in indian society. Padman Songs have been composed by Music director Amit Trivedi and Komail Shayan.  Kuasar Munir has written the  lyrics of the songs. Amitabh Bachchan is also playing a vital part in the movie. Padman Trailer has just been released and the movie is expected to release in January 2018.
